Pair of Chairs by Paul Evans
USA Rare pair of sculptural chairs by renowned furniture designer Paul Evans. This unique pair of chairs was hand made by Evans and his assistant; it is interesting to see the classical lines of a 'klismos' chair in such an avant-garde creation. They are made of a metal structure to which they applied a sculptural cement that was then bronzed and patinated, upholstered in original orange silk velvet. Paul Evans coffee table, from the same provenance, also available. Provenance: Estate of a gentleman who resided in the Mies Van Der Rohe building at 3 Westmount Sq. Montreal, Canada.
